Reiki, what is it?

Reiki can be defined as a method of unconventional care of Japanese origin, based on treatments called “energetic” by laying on of hands. This method, which is currently very popular around the world, was created by the Japanese Mikao Usui following a mystical revelation that would have brought him at the end of the 19th century to receive the famous “keys to healing”. During a reiki session, it is customary for the practitioner to put his hands on the body and let the energy circulate naturally towards the areas that need it most.
Note that reiki is not a massage, there is no movement and the patient is not supposed to undress.

How many Reiki sessions are needed before feeling good?

It is difficult to answer this question universally. It all depends on the patient’s profile, and his emotional and physical state when he starts his reiki program. Generally, it is customary to say that from the first session of Reiki, beneficial effects are already felt. It is generally advisable to schedule no less than 6 reiki sessions to observe lasting and tangible effects on your body and your psyche. Usually, Reiki practitioners schedule close-up sessions at start-up, and then progressively schedule appointments as the beneficial effects of the therapy appear.

Now you know how many reiki sessions you need to finally feel good mentally and physically. As you may already know, Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive, painless method that can have miraculous effects on your body. Are you tempted? All you have to do is find a trustworthy person, and you will most likely be surprised by the beneficial effects of Reiki on your body.
