The word Reiki breaks down into Rei– spiritual and Ki– energy. The essence of this healing art is formed from the understanding that behind this life, there is an intelligence that breathes consciousness into our everyday existence, an energy that can be utilized for healing, relaxing, reducing tension and helping us become as successful as we want to be. This is why I feel it’s so important in cities such as London where we can so easily forget ourselves and especially our health.
