The word Reiki breaks down into Rei– spiritual and Ki– energy. The essence of this healing art is formed from the understanding that behind all of life, there is an intelligence that breathes life force into our everyday experience, an energy that can be harnessed for healing, calming, minimizing tension and helping us become as successful as we wish to be. This is why I feel it’s so important in cities such as London where we can so quickly forget ourselves and specifically our health.
